The classic liposuction technique eliminates deep fat by mechanical aspiration. The surgeon uses fine cannulas of 3 to 4 mm that he inserts through micro incisions. This will allow him to aspirate the excess of fat.
The quantity of fat removed must be made according to the quality of the skin in order to avoid the effect of waves or wavy pits due to the poor skin retraction.
What are the areas treated by liposuction ?
As it is said, this procedure eliminates the excess of fat from the different parts of the silhouette like the arms, the thighs, the buttocks…it is called complete liposuction.
But, it is also possible to get rid of the excess of fat from only one area like the thighs or the arms or the buttocks…
Liposuction : postoperative phases
It is normal that the patient will feel tired that s why he has to take a rest of at least one month, moreover, he can not practice sport during 2 to 3 months after the intervention.Bruises and edema will disappear after three weeks.
At the end of the intervention, the surgeon applies a modeling bandage, but as soon as the patient leaves the clinic, he must wear a compression garment that reduces bruising and postoperative swelling in the operated areas. It should be worn for one month to help the skin retract for a perfect silhouette.
The surgeon prescribes to the patient analgesics in order to relieve pain.

The final result of the liposuction is appreciated after 6 months.
The patient then regains a harmonious silhouette.
